Here, There and Everywhere

Lots of exciting things are coming up in the future of BBC!!!! I really look forward to the upcoming meeting on September 29th as we think and talk about the future areas of partnership for our church.  As you know, the Father has really impressed upon my heart for our church to be involved in ministry locally, nationally, and globally based on the PROMISE of Acts 1:8.  On the 29th, we will meet (6:00 for a meal and discussion starting around 6:30) to look at each of these areas.

Our community outreach team will be reporting on some of the potential things we could be involved in over the next year or so in our town of Bethel.  My heart is for us to be a church that makes a difference in our community.  God has placed us here to be a blessing to this city and we CAN be that.

Secondly, we will talk about potentially partnering in Toronto with the Journey Church (where Jess Gaul primarily served this summer).  I had the privilege of meeting with Pastor David from Journey this past week in Toronto and we will look at what a partnership there might look like.

Finally, we'll walk through a potential partnership with Indonesia and adopting the Solorese people group.  The Solorese people are considered Unreached (meaning they are less than 2% evangelical) and Unengaged (meaning that their is no one actively trying to reach them).  

I certainly hope to see you on the 29th and would ask that you would continue to pray about these decisions in the life of our church.  This literally could be the most exciting time that our church has ever seen!  My heart rejoices at what God is doing in our midst!!!
